Overview

Solwagers Chess lets you play classic chess matches with SOL wagers. The game features a real-time interactive board with move validation, live synchronization between players via WebSockets, and automatic payout to the winner when the game ends.

How to Play

• 1.Create a new chess game from the Discover page and set your wager amount
• 2.Send the required SOL to the escrow wallet address provided
• 3.Wait for an opponent to join and send their SOL to the same escrow wallet
• 4.Once both players have paid, the game board loads automatically
• 5.The creator plays as white (first move). Make moves by clicking or dragging pieces
• 6.Moves are synchronized in real-time — your opponent sees each move instantly

Time Controls

When creating a chess game, you can set a time control for each player. Each player has a countdown timer that runs during their turn. If a player's time runs out, they lose the game.

Game Rules

Standard chess rules apply. All standard moves are supported including castling, en passant, and pawn promotion.

A game ends when:

• •Checkmate — one player's king is in check with no legal escape
• •Stalemate — the player to move has no legal moves and is not in check (draw)
• •Resignation — a player forfeits the match
• •Draw by agreement, threefold repetition, or insufficient material

Winning & Payouts

When a chess game concludes, the winner is determined automatically and the payout is processed:

• •The game result is verified on the server
• •The winner receives the total wager pool (both players' deposits combined) minus a small platform fee
• •Funds are transferred directly from the escrow wallet to the winner's Solana wallet
• •The transaction is confirmed on the Solana blockchain within seconds
